The Village of Lake Zurich is a Chicago suburb, located in Lake County, Illinois, approximately 40 miles northwest of the city. According to the 2010 census, the population of Lake Zurich was around 20,000. It is estimated that the median income for a household in Lake Zurich is $101,872.

For nature lovers, there are some beautiful parks along the lake with bike paths and places to hang out by the water. There is also the Kemper Lakes Golf Club, which has hosted PGA tour games.
Commute to Chicago from Laze Zurich, IL
There are a couple of ways you can get to Chicago from Lake Zurich. You can drive to the Barrington Metra station, which is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Lake Zurich. Once on the Metra, it’s about an hour more to get to downtown Chicago. Alternatively, you can take the I-290 E if you’re driving.
